In-Situ
Stabilisation
Our specialized process reuses 100% of existing on-site materials, transforming failing road beds into high-strength pavement structures.
The 8-Step Stabilisation Lifecycle
From scarification to finished surface — every phase is precision-engineered for structural integrity and speed.
Rip
Road surface is scarified and ripped to the required depth, exposing the existing base material for treatment.
Batch
Ecobond emulsion is precision-batched at the on-site mixing camp at the correct dilution rate for the material type.
Mix
The in-situ soil is mixed with the Ecobond stabiliser using a rotavator, ensuring complete and uniform integration.
Spray
The diluted Ecobond emulsion is precision-sprayed onto the prepared road surface via a water tanker bowser.
Compact
The treated base is compacted to the specified density using a vibratory roller, forming the structural layer.
Let Dry
The stabilised layer cures naturally. The resin modified emulsion cross-links, achieving maximum structural strength.
Spray On
A final sealer coat of Ecobond Duragrav is spray-applied to the wearing course to lock the surface and prevent dust.
Finished
Traffic-ready within 24 hours. A fully stabilised, dust-free road surface ready for heavy loads and long-term service.
