Technical Architecture
Ecobond is a sophisticated Resin Modified Bitumen Emulsion (RMBE) formulated for soil stabilization and dust suppression. Unlike conventional bitumen, our proprietary formula integrates high-tensile resins that create a cross-linked molecular structure when cured, effectively creating a semi-rigid pavement layer.
As specified in COTO 2021 (Listing 4.4.5.4), this "Cold-Mix" technology allows for application at ambient temperatures. It is further recognized by SANRAL / SAPEM 2013 as an endorsed method for sustainable road construction, offering performance that rivals traditional hot-mix asphalt in load-bearing capacity and shear strength.
